گوانو ممی کی دریافت، ایک ہسپانوی راہب جو ایکواڈور کے چرچ کی دیواروں میں ایک ممی شدہ چوہے کے ساتھ پائی گئی، واقعی دلچسپ ہے۔



یہ ممی 1949 میں زلزلے کے بعد دریافت ہوئی تھی، جس میں 1500 کی دہائی کے وسط سے فرانسسکن راہب فرے لازارو ڈی لا کروز ڈی سانٹوفیمیا کی باقیات کا انکشاف ہوا تھا۔ لاش کا تحفظ حادثاتی معلوم ہوتا ہے، ممکنہ طور پر تدفین کے دوران استعمال ہونے والے چونے کی وجہ سے، جس نے راہب کے ساتھ ملنے والے چوہے کو بھی محفوظ کر لیا تھا۔



آج، گوانو کی ممی میوزیو میونسپل ڈی گوانو کے اندر ہرمیٹک طور پر مہر بند شیشے کے کیس میں آرام کرتی ہے، جو ایک راہب کے لباس سے زیادہ دادی کے لباس سے مشابہہ منفرد لباس میں ملبوس ہے۔



میوزیم کبھی کبھار نمائشوں اور تعلیمی نظاروں کے دوران ممی کی نقل دکھاتا ہے، جبکہ بدقسمتی سے، ماؤس کے پاس اس کے ساتھ کوئی نقل نہیں ہے۔

























The discovery of the Guano Mummy, a Spanish monk found in the walls of an Ecuadorian church, alongside a mummified mouse, is indeed intriguing. The mummy was discovered post an earthquake in 1949, revealing the remains of Fray Lázaro de la Cruz de Santofimia, a Franciscan monk from the mid-1500s. The preservation of the body seems to be accidental, possibly due to lime used during the burial process, which also preserved the mouse found alongside the monk.


Today, the Guano Mummy rests in a hermetically sealed glass case within the Museo Municipal de Guano, clad in unique clothing resembling a grandmother's attire more than that of a monk. The museum occasionally showcases a replica of the mummy during exhibitions and educational viewings, while the mouse, unfortunately, doesn't have a replica to accompany it.
